Quarantine on Jeju Island South Korea

Quarantine on Jeju Island South Korea – Due to an emergency situation, my wife and I had to go back to South Korea.

It took us a whole day to get from China to Jeju Island. We woke up around 5:30am, got ready and took a DiDi to the Jiaxing Bus Station. The Jiaxing Bus Station provided a bus that would take us directly to Pudong Airport.

We landed at Incheon Airport around 5:30pm and had to wait for a couple of hours for a free taxi service to Gimpo Airport. Unfortunately, there was a flight delay, so we had to wait for our flight to Jeju until 9:25pm.

At Jeju Airport (CJU), we had to get a COVID-19 test and then finally got to leave the airport right before 11pm…

As of this post, we’re now on our third day of the 14-day quarantine on Jeju Island, South Korea. As you can see in the video below, Jeju City Hall provided us with a lot of food, water and other goods:

The Jeju Health Center also provided us with extra masks, garbage bags & other interesting things.

The food is more than enough and it can probably last us for more than a month!

so much food!

Jeju City Hall and Jeju Health Center, thank you!

From what my wife told me, the other cities in Korea don’t provide as much food and other goods.

Just an FYI: I think this is only provided for Jeju residents and not for tourists traveling here on Jeju Island.

We have 12 more days of quarantine left. After that, a busy and hectic schedule for the next couple of months.

Hope things will go smoothly as planned.
