Second ACL Reconstruction Surgery Post-Op Recovery

Second ACL Reconstruction Surgery Post-Op Recovery Journal Part 2 – As you can see in the YouTube video below, this is week 2 or part 2 of my post-op recovery:

As I have mentioned in a previous post, I have to use the knee brace for the next three months.

In the video, my wife and I go on a quick hospital day trip to Busan.

My father-in-law drops us off at the airport early morning and we can see a clear beautiful view of Halla Mountain:

Halla Mountain, Jeju Island, South Korea

We then take a quick 40 minute flight from Cheju Airport (CJU) to Gimhae Airport (PUS).

Next, we take a 40 minute taxi ride to the hospital which cost us around 15,000 KRW.

Second ACL Reconstruction Surgery Hospital Visit

Once we get to the hospital, I had to get x-rays for my knee and then wait for the doc.

The doc spoke to us for a few minutes about the status/condition of my knee. Seemed everything is healing up well and just have to be extra careful throughout my recovery (since this is my second ACL reconstruction surgery).

Next, the doc takes out the stitches.

I also don’t have to take antibiotics anymore.

As for now, I just need to continue with the self-rehab therapy.

And I have to use the crutches for about 4 more weeks.

There’s some muscle atrophy on my right leg. Once I’m off the crutches, I’ll get to to know what I need to do in regards to rehab therapy.

Also, I have to visit the hospital again on January 20th, 2021.

I’ll try to provide another update soon, thank you for reading.
